Swing Booty manifested from a gathering of like minded folk, through marriage, divorce, children, shared histories and new friendships. The mountain met the sea. Some Swing Booty folk came from the Southern Highlands of NSW and the others from the Southern Ocean.... influencing the bands musical sounds. Abbe Spencer, Kenny Bartley and Athony Bonito (affectionately known as Bones) all brought original compositions to the Booty's jam sessions. Pretty soon these tunes became hot little numbers embellished and interpreted by the other members of the band. And there were many!

Swing Booty is spearheaded by the dynamic duo of Abbe Spencer & Kenny Bartley. Kenny provides the lead guitar, harmonica and vocals. He makes the audience laugh and cry with his deep strong vocals, singing homespun tales. Abbe plays rhythm guitar, percussion and sings with a passionate funky touch... She is The Booty! Damo Stirling on Congas & Dejembe gets your Booty Bounc'n with crazy jungle rhythms as well as bringing deep baritone backups...OOOOYEAH ! Al Yorke on drums drives the tempo and keeps The Booty together... although he's really in the band for his kazoomanship !  Drewski brings the Bass like no-other, if his smooth runs and funky slaps don’t get you mov’n then noth’n ever will!
